DIA-BOUTIQUE.com was an online fashion store for the modern nomad. It curated the best in independent global luxury fashion they showcased luxury products and cutting-edge trends.
I was commissioned to design and update weekly the homepage pages in two supplied languages, Arabic and English for online retail store. I was also tasked in supporting the in-house design team with ad hoc design work such as general artworking of products which were used on the site.
Model images taken on the catwalk or in studio were supplied to me, these required me too retouch and cut out and crop the faces of the models due it being cheaper for the company not to show the faces of the models.
As well as supplying these artworked images to the company, I also used them in the creation of banners across the site.
Lastly these supplied images were used on the product pages to allow users to have close up images of the products.
The layout of the banners had to be flexible mainly because the site was run in two languages, Arabic and English. From a typographic point of view I had to take in consideration that it would be read from left to right as well as right to left.
