About me

Since growing up art and design was always my favourite subject at school and past time at home. I’ve always found a deep satisfaction of translating ideas from the mind to paper and pen and digital media. Below is a bit more information about me and my interests.

Other interests

I would say that my four main interests (excluding drawing and travelling) would be martial arts, cooking, playing the guitar and hiking.

Martial Arts has always been one of the central parts of my life mainly because of the physical and mental benefits such as discipline, confidence, flexibility and focus. Living in London has given me the opportunity to study and practice a rich assortment of martial arts. Starting from the age of 8 I’ve been fortunate enough to learn Judo, Wing Chun Kung Fu, Muay Thai, modern and historical Fencing and Boxing.

With cooking, not only do I find it relaxing and fun learning new techniques and interesting historical facts but it’s also a way for me to connect to my Chinese Mauritian cultural heritage.

Lastly there is playing the guitar and hiking, both relax me in different ways the first gives you the sense of achievement when you finally master a song or have a great jamming session with friends and the other offers the tranquility of the countryside which in turn makes you forget about the hustle and bustle of the city life.
